“Booking a wedding photographer felt like a frightening task. I was looking for a photographer who had an online photo gallery that offered a fun, creative, and even alternative perspective to wedding photography. My wedding, I knew, was going to be a bit different so I needed someone with an eye for the uniquely beautiful to be behind the lens.
When I first called to talk with Richard, we talked for an hour. He put me at ease with humor and casual confidence. Personality wise I knew from that conversation that he was going to be able to bring the creative flair that I was looking for in a photographer.
On the day of the event he and his wife – his fellow photographer- gracefully moved in rhythm and from first picture to last. Their actions looked seamless but their love and excitement for their job made it so much fun to be around them.
5 weeks later, the pictures were ready to view. I am getting teary even thinking about that first time I looked at them. Not only is each and every one of them beautiful but they all captured the experience of that amazing evening. People's faces, the location, the atmosphere of the night- its all there in black and while, color, and sepia tones.
Looking at these pictures it is hard to even believe that I don't usually like pictures of myself. I look stunning, my husband- as always, looks so handsome. And together we look like the wonderful couple we are in real life.
